William "Bill" W. Williams - Obituary

illiam "Bill" Watts Williams, Ed.D., 92, a resident of Harwood, MD, for 23 years and previously of Riva, MD, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. He was born on May 19, 1932, in Washington, D.C., to the late Clifford and Iva Williams. Bill earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology from Wilson's Teacher's College in Washington, D.C., a Master of Education in Human Growth and Development from the University of Maryland, College Park, and an Ed.D. from Duke University in Durham, NC. Throughout his career, Bill worked with Montgomery County Public Schools, the Christian Counseling Center of Annapolis, and Safe Harbor Christian Counseling. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Billy Williams. Bill is survived by his wife of 58 years, Stephanie Williams; two children, David Williams and his wife, Kim, of Harwood, MD, and Stacie Klavon of Manchester, MD; and five grandchildren: Christian and Liam Klavon, and Luke, Sarah, and Emma Williams. For immediate family, a graveside service will be held on Monday, November 25, at 10 a.m. at Rock Creek Cemetery, located at 100 Allison St. N.W., Washington, D.C. All are welcome at the memorial service which will be conducted on Friday, December 20, at 2 p.m. at Grace Presbyterian Church PCA, 4012 Birdsville Road, Davidsonville, MD, 21035.
